- Married to her high-school sweetheart, Ryan; stay-at-home mom to kids, ages 2 and 5
- Had two extremely strenuous pregnancies with a condition that caused nausea, vomiting and food aversion throughout, then postpartum recovery issues; resulted in roughly 2 years off from consistent running with each child. Had another health setback early in 2019
- Favorite running memory is from 2006 high school cross country championships, when her team scored 28 points, at the time an Arizona state record low score
- Won 2013 Whiskey Row Half Marathon outright; first woman to do so
