- Associate Head Coach of Cross Country and Track and Field at Ursinus College
- Met her husband, at a local 5K where he ended up at the hospital for heat exhaustion after pushing too hard in hopes of impressing her; got her number after all when she reached out to see how he was feeling
- Illnesses and injuries scuttled several OTQ attempts but she was fueled by missing 2011 NCAA Championships at 5000m by one spot and one second as a senior
- Was wearing one of her grandmother’s angel pins the day she got her OTQ, which she would touch as a reminder to stay relaxed and keep pushing through
