- Before 2018 hadn't been able to go 10 months without an injury since junior year of high school
- In August of 2017 was diagnosed with Popliteal Artery Entrapment Syndrome; left leg had 5 percent blood flow below the knee and right had 0 percent. Two surgeries seem to have solved the issue
- Third in 2019 USATF Half Marathon Championships
- A favorite running memory is lowering his 3200m PB from 9:33 to 9:09 as a junior in high school, then running up to his dad to share a huge hug
